I found this to be a good product and I liked the long lead cord. I've used it a few times with my mule. Everything seemed fine until I loaded her into the trailer and she tried to pull the trailer off. The holster was attached to a severed trailer tether, and she backed up a little before deciding to come forward again. The break was never resolved, but the halter almost broke in three places! It was so close to breaking that I had to throw it away. If you need something for a horse that doesn't pull a lot, this should be fine. But if you need something reliable I would look elsewhere. I used another halter the same day and she pulled again but the other halter showed no signs of wear and was a thinner rope halter. The mule is only two years old and is trying to understand life on a leash.
