I really need something because I mainly use my Oculus for fitness but the sweating makes it dirty the lenses and the dripping doesn't have to stop and take off the headset and wipe the inner part in the middle of one Match/practice, which can be annoying. It also causes me to have to adjust the fit on my head, which is also annoying. Also, the actual fit of the silicone case is too large on the Oculus and my face. It's really not a design that fits the oculus properly, which doesn't make sense since the oculus is a standard size. It's also too big for my face so I have to adjust it to an uncomfortable but best position so I can use it. It does indeed reduce a significant amount of sweat for me. Where I'm sweating profusely, I know I'm dripping a little.
