I have used Raw in the past and have always had good results. I find it better to use this semi permanent hair color because it lasts longer than semi permanent. Always bleach your hair with the Raw White Out Bleach Kit for a vibrant colour. The smell is pleasant, the texture pleasantly creamy. This time I used Wellas bleach powder and developer on mostly virgin hair and didn't get the results I usually get. The bleach only lightened my hair. If you want purple to really stand out, especially indoors, make sure you lighten it very slightly (as close to white as possible without damaging your hair) and use toner after bleaching and before coloring. Also, when you shower, wash your face with cool water and a sulfate-free shampoo. this makes the color last longer. Please also read the instructions for use of the bottle. It is important to comb the paint so that it gets on all the strands. I will continue to buy this brand of paint, especially dark purple.
