Bought this for a kitten I got in February 2020. These steps are perfect as a window bar as the top step sits flush with my window sill. Cats love sitting on the window but I didn't want to use the old cat seats I had from my ex cats who sadly passed away last year because those shelves had to be bolted to the windowsill. When I got this kitty I knew I would be selling my condo and moving in a few months so I didn't want to use anything that might damage the window sills which were being repaired and repainted to make the condo ready for sale. Other window poles use suction cups and wires to stick to the window. That wouldn't be a good solution either as I have to draw the curtains at night as I live on the first floor. These steps were the perfect solution. The photos show the cat bed resting on the top step to provide a comfy windowsill for my kitty.
