Cot disaster? Try this

Like many others here, my 2.3 year old has started to crawl out of his crib. We were all excited, turning his crib into a toddler bed and making a big fuss about him being ready for a "big boy bed". What followed was two weeks of hell. It used to take my son a MAXIMUM of about 15 minutes to fall asleep - mostly within the first five minutes. But after converting his crib into a baby crib, he slept longer and longer every night. We've tried every "cradle" method in the world - the CIO, the super nanny sits in the room and ignores him, lets him walk around and "eventually falls asleep" - (which he didn't) and did nothing. It worked. He became more and more frustrated and overtired, which only made the problem worse. What about daytime sleep? They were even worse. After 3 nights in a row of him taking over 2 hours to fall asleep (most of the time he was screaming and I almost had a nervous breakdown) we bought this crib tent and set it up. Night One: We did CIO at intervals and expected it to take about an hour. But he fell asleep after 12 minutes. First dream: He fell asleep after 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor and buy this item. got a little showy in the net with moons and stars. I think it's ok. Baby monitor - of course it's a bit harder to see the details on the baby monitor, but you can see enough to understand what's going on - installation is very simple. Remove mattress, set up tent, tie down, put mattress back. takes a maximum of 5 minutes - the material - looks durable and well made.
