Good in the right climate

I really wanted to like this product. The LED cells are punchy and battery lasted all night. Living in Florida the moisture gets really bad. After a month I noticed one wasn’t working and there was water buildup behind the lens. I drilled a few holes to achieve drainage and airflow for condensation. Hoping if it could dry out I would get light again. No luck so today I decided to break into it and discovered all of the issues. Not to mention the positive wire severed due to corrosion from the moisture. I call these items expendables because of where they are made and the cost to make it. Profit margins are sky high. I figure to get a year maybe two out of these kind of products. Not a month. The issues are as follows.1. PCB placement is horrible. Why not put a wall behind the LED module to try to keep moisture out? If you are up lighting features the enclosure acts as a reservoir for moisture.2. Battery is hardwired. Why? when you could have the battery seed right on the PCB? That way it can be replaced through a door on the back of the unit.3. Soldering. I have noticed the shotty craftsmanship in numerous products these days. This one is no exception.I am sure if I didn’t live in a tropical climate these would hold up well.
