Sodium hydroxide is highly corrosive and should not be used in conjunction with other cleaning agents as hazardous reactions and fumes may occur. I use both eye protection and long cuff chemical resistant gloves and use this product carefully. I like gel dispensing (as opposed to liquid sprays). Given the time and repeated uses, it works quite well, although not a miracle cure for moldy surfaces. Please note that the product should not be used on aluminum windows or shower screens.
