Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Skechers Men's Walk Max Clinched Athletic Shoes for Men by Alec Winsor

Not good for long walks

Sometimes you have to learn the hard way. I've been wearing Skecher Barrons for a number of years and they can be worn every day. But I was trying to walk more (10,000 steps a day) so I decided to buy these highly rated Walk Max shoes based on the description. Don't buy them. The shoe is a 2-2.5 inch high platform with a foam sole. You may be thinking, isn't it perfect for hiking? Unfortunately there aren't any. This completely dampens the feel of the road and your foot muscles cannot absorb the forces that occur. The higher and thicker sole also means you land on the heel rather than the midfoot. Finally, the padded upper offers zero support and stability, allowing the ankles to rotate effectively. After two days of wearing I really regret this purchase. Overall, this is a very poorly designed shoe for anything but casual walking. Unfortunately I can't even return it after wearing it twice.
