This leather stool is beautiful, durable and has a bit of a smell, but overall just what I was hoping for. I didn't want to spend more money stuffing it, so I used an old royal quilt, folded old sheets, an old down jacket (laughs), old pillowcases, old baby towels. etc. Holy cow (no pun intended) this stool needs a lot of stuffing. I wanted it to be firm so it could also be used as a seat, so I stuffed it as hard as I could with a bunch of old linens that I no longer use. Saved me money and it's great! I'm sure the smell will dissipate over time. Just had to wipe it down because it was collecting dust where it was stored. I am very satisfied with this product.
