I intentionally bought these shoes over the recommended size for my 2 year old son. The fit was as expected. Although the straps are larger than his legs, the straps make it easier to adjust as he grows. It only took him a few minutes to get used to it on the first try. He's been walking around in it ever since. They feel comfortable and durable, with a soft foam insole and a firmer but flexible outsole with great traction. I love her, grandma loves her and so does he!
