Review on Saucony Ride 9 Women's Running Shoe: Enhanced Performance and Comfort for the Perfect Run by Paul Barnes

Terrible road running shoes

I really wanted to like them but I just can't. The point where the laces connect to the toe rests on the top of the big toe of the right foot. It only hurts about 0.5 miles then I don't feel it because I think my toes are a bit numb. That's pretty strange. The color is great and overall the shoe is light and seems to have the right amount of support for my lower abs/high arch. Since I can't go back I'll probably just keep them until I can save up for the next pair. I run about 20-30km a week. UPDATE: After 2 days of trial lacing and socks I just can't wear these shoes. There was a bruise on the big toe of his right foot. I couldn't store them for another 2 days to wait for delivery so I had to bite down and buy new sneakers (Asics) from the store. If you buy them from Revain, wear them at home for a day or two, walk, squat, go up and down stairs, do whatever you can to make sure they don't pinch. Mine felt good at first but now it hurts a lot. Well, the right one anyway, the left one is fine. Terrible shoes (for me).

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
