For 'first time surprised Beetle enthusiasts' ----- BETTER NOT! The only little living space I could find with a CARRY/HOLIDAY HANDLE! Approximately 11.5 inches tall. 11.5 inches up, down, sideways! Bought for my first two Mantis egg crates. The work was beyond perfection. EggCase #1 produced approximately 150 babies. and each had a place to climb and not disturb each other-----so they were not allowed to eat each other (kept 24-32 hours before being released into the garden). This pup is AMAZING! I would recommend every teacher, every person in FLASH! With the pen, you can wear it to prom, school, or just share it with your friends! And PEOPLE of all stripes just love to see what's inside! I had 5 adults and 8 children, ALL were surprised and asked what was in it! In general. PERFECTLY PERFECT for my egg clutch Praying Mantis Hatching & Release. Not to mention, this pup's breathability and "fine shoeing" are incredible. I might keep that for Christmas gifts with a bug egg or two in mind :) Mid 50's. I'm hard to please but this---THIS rocked my little world :)))) THE BEST!
