Bought these to clip my ferrets claws. You need something that will cut cleanly and quickly and will not crack or crack nails. They do everything I needed and hoped for. Ferrets often need their nails trimmed and are curvy and not easy to trim, so you need something that works well every time. I just put some Ferretone (yes I know it's bad for them, they only get a trim every few weeks) on their tummy and while they are distracted by the licking I can really do all four paws now. in one session, whereas before it was only possible to do one or two at a time. I no longer have to sneak up on them while they sleep. I don't like scratching my ferrets unless it's necessary as it prevents them from making a real connection with you. This made nail trimming more comfortable and enjoyable for both me and my ferrets Leela and Korben. Highly recommended!
