I have a ladder from Louisville and it is built exactly like the warning light this product was made for. It just fits well. The instructions say to cut off the top tier. It's not the easiest. However, the oscillating tool with a carbide blade did its job quite well. Almost certainly better than the hacksaw and punch method recommended in the instructions. Then place a metal plate over the hole you just drilled and secure it with the screws provided. (8 more holes need to be drilled and you need a 13/64 bit)
