Easy installation. They simply twist around the red section to put them on. Then simply adjust the mirror to where you need to watch the kids or the dog. I use it for my dog. I used to have to move the whole rear view mirror to see what it's doing, now I just move the small mirror. I use three cars. Ram 1500, Prius and Camry, which by the way have a thicker mirror on the Camry, so you have to open it even more by turning it. It's clear enough to see what my dog is doing. If it was a glass mirror, I'm sure it would be even clearer. Overall this is a great article. Highly recommended.
