Review on Complete Carburetor for Oregon Tools by Greg Princeking

I bought this for my Coleman 5000W alternator. It buzzed a lot and eventually just stopped working. I put this new carburetor in and the generator started on the first pull. Then it worked perfectly. This carb arrived perfectly matched and I didn't have to touch anything. Now I'm sure the generator will start when I need it and the cost of refueling was less than a full tank. I should have bought 2. If you have a Tecumseh powered alternator, I recommend buying one of these just to have on hand. In my opinion, carburetors are more of a tuning/maintenance item these days. They cost less than a spark plug plus oil and air filters. But they're far more likely to cause problems, especially with something like a backup generator set that's going to be stored for a long period of time. This is the third small engine I've revived by simply replacing the carburetors rather than rebuilding them or paying someone to do it.
