Complete Carburetor for Oregon Tools Review

It worked great when installed on a 5000w generator when it started working again. The part that regulates the speed was different from the one that strayed from it. You have to press it every time you start it to set the right RPM for the generator to run, but that doesn't bother.

I bought this carburettor for a 5000w Colman generator. It came a little later than I would have liked, but that's what you get when you live in Alaska. But the carburettor arrived here with free shipping and in good condition. I installed it and had no problems, the generator started the first time and then it was reasonable. I recommend it to anyone who has a 10hp Tecumseh!

I received a Power Back 5250 Generator from a friend who hadn't worked for several years. When I got it home I found the carburetor was sealed and the rebuild kit was 11.00 but I had the option to replace the entire carburetor for 31.50 so I went that route. I got the carburetor within 3 days and bolted it to the alternator and after a few puffs the engine fired up and started generating. I am very satisfied with the service and the product and can only recommend this product.

I'm not an engine expert but I was able to quickly and easily fit this carburetor to my 8hp Tecumseh engine. The float on the old carburetor was punctured and leaking fuel. I was sulking about my 15 year old Sears Companion 10hp Tecumseh engine. This thing was very difficult to start right out of the box. I bought this for my Coleman 5000W alternator. It buzzed a lot and eventually just stopped working. I put this new carburetor in and the generator started on the first pull. Then it worked perfectly. This carb arrived perfectly matched and I didn't have to touch anything. Now I'm sure the generator will start when I need it and the cost of refueling was less than a full tank. I should have bought 2. If you have a Tecumseh powered alternator, I recommend buying one of these just to have on hand.
