Review on Complete Carburetor for Oregon Tools by Sam Bauer

I'm not an engine expert but I was able to quickly and easily fit this carburetor to my 8hp Tecumseh engine. The float on the old carburetor was punctured and leaking fuel. With the old carburettor, the engine did not run smoothly. This works great! For example a new engine. The only thing that bothers me is the extra intake port above the throat that goes straight into the throttle body, which the old carb didn't have. I have no idea what that is for, but the engine runs fine regardless of anything.
