The first thing that struck me is that the light sources are identical, which means the power cord emanates from the same side of the world, which might not matter to most people. But if there is symmetry in your life, it will bother you. The second thing that catches my eye is that the mount is well proportioned aluminum and has a thick coat of paint, all very nice touches. Moving on to the installation - I immediately ran into the problem of a nice heavy mount that wouldn't fit between my factory hitch and bumper. Another issue was that the spacing between the lights on the mount placed them very close to the safety chain hook points. So after some deliberation I decided not to use a bracket at all, but to drill holes in the bumper and mount the headlights at a distance from my trailer hitch. Yes, I know I could buy a bumper kit for a lot less than this hitch kit. For me, installing and using them was more important than messing around with the return.
