I have a bluetooth headset. This BT dongle "CSR 4.0" will not recognize the headset without installing the very large (slow) driver/bluetooth stack package from the mini CD. I found this odd since Windows 10 comes with a full stack of BT LE. Second, the software installed its own (second) Bluetooth entry in Device Manager (with a low-res icon), which makes me feel increasingly like this is some mysterious junk I just installed. It connected to the headset and "played" the music, but with terribly muffled sound quality. It was more convenient for me to remove the software and pull the key. Others here have confirmed that this is indeed a CSR chip that works well with the Raspberry Pi. So before I throw it away, I'll try it there and update here if it's better than Windows 10. Cheap BT dongle with Broadcom chip works with Windows 10/Headset without installing any driver.
