Review on πŸ’§ PureFlow: Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System by Ashley Webb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Major Design Flaw - Affects all reverse osmosis systems that connect to a faucet

Since my kitchen has an exhaust faucet that this reverse osmosis system will not connect to, I planned to connect it to my newly installed bathroom faucet rooms. Unfortunately, faucets are not guaranteed to withstand full water pressure AFTER their handles, which is why my new Delta Laravel bathroom faucet started leaking at the handles immediately after installing this reverse osmosis system. It is not possible to determine which faucet will withstand the increased pressure AFTER the handles and which will not, as this is not prescribed for fitting manufacturers, since in normal operation the water pressure AFTER the handles does not correspond to the full water pressure in your pipes. It is only after you have installed this reverse osmosis system that the faucet needs to be under full water pressure both before and after the handles. Unfortunately, this means you are taking a risk by buying this or any other reverse osmosis system that is hooked up AFTER the faucet handles like yours. There's no way of knowing which faucet can handle it and which can't. Replacing the faucet is also not a real solution as you don't know what to replace it with as no "compatible and tested" list of faucets is published and the faucet manufacturers consider this abnormal usage so they don't accept the faucet returns. So I advise against buying this unless you enjoy gaming. :-) If you manage to hook it up somehow (I ended up hooking it up to pipes instead of a faucet) then the filtration is pretty good. I went down from TDS 370 to 7
