It's quite thin, but it's not a big problem. To defend this product, it's good for the price, I was planning to mount it on a countertop. So I wanted something to play around with. However, I thought it would be a bit thicker with a textured rubber bottom but couldn't tell from the picture. I would recommend spending a little more for a higher level.
