I bought these size 7 sneakers in tan for a fifth grader. He wears the children's brand Target Cat & Jack in size 6 and the men's brand Champion in size 7-7.5, sold in Payless and Nike basketball shoes in size 7. Three different sizes, but what can you do, each brand is different. I ordered size 7 and they fit him perfectly with socks and maybe without socks but I haven't worn them yet. We only tried on socks. He liked blue better than brown, so I kept the blue ones. I can't say how long they will last but they seem durable and comfortable and I was very happy with the price. Although it's a men's shoe you can order it for your kids if they have big feet, my son's foot is neither wide nor narrow, it's just medium wide and I think it's a pretty average size for an 11 year old Child .
