The building instructions are just as useful as the box it came in, throw them away seriously. The instructions do NOT state that the extensions must be attached to the tent floor. They also DO NOT show that you have to set up the rest of the tent INSIDE the tent! You have to have some pretty sneaky skills to put together something that doesn't leave you and your spouse fighting or needing a drink. to understand this puzzle together to make children happy. I'm just saying. So we set up the tent after 2 1/2 hours. The grandchildren were bored then, but our lab liked it. We've had the tent for about a month now and the grandchildren like it as much as the dog. It is sturdy and offers enough space for two children and a dog, sometimes a cat. I just wish there were more detailed instructions.
