Affordable replacement for failed Energy Take 5.0 center speaker. Perfect. Monoprice Home Theater relies so much on them that they had to re-seize them to avoid a lawsuit. Same power, same frequency range, about the same size. The reviews say they're as good if not better than the Energy [Kilpsch] and they're right - the speaker sounds fantastic, you won't tell the difference. Really good speakers that are really affordable. Yes, you'll probably end up buying a set of Monoprice 5.1 speakers if the first Energy satellite fails (they should) and just sell the subwoofer.
