When installed outdoors, they are so dim that it's hard to tell if they're on.
I first installed these lights outside on a small pine tree in front of my house. Very disappointing. They were so weak I wasn't sure if they were on, so I went to the garage and checked the plug. It was connected to the network. The lights could hardly be seen. Not bright at all so I took the lights from the tree outside and hung them on the two Christmas trees inside the house. What an amazing difference! In the house they look very bright and beautiful! I'm glad I didn't send them back.
