They are easy to install but you will need a jbox for each individual light unless you buy 24 gauge wire and branch them from a jbox. They're less than 500 lumens, four lights is enough for a small 4" x 4" room, but I still throw in a light if we need more light. The remotes are cute, the built in transmitter is amazing. My girls like lights, they have nightly discos with their friends. One bulb didn't work, I hope the seller will replace it with no problem. I'll update later how to do it. 3 bulbs of 500 lumens each didn't have enough light so I had to replace one with a built in LED dimming. Left two for the RGB effect.
