I was pleased to find a very reasonably priced product that should do wonders for hardwood floors and carpeting. A bead of adhesive came off on both hardwood and carpet within the first 10 minutes of use. As for the carpet cleaning results, even after continuously cleaning the same area, there were still lint and wool on the carpet. As you can see in the video, the vacuum can lift the surface when you push it away. When it's pulled back, it wobbles and lets the surface up and down, resulting in uneven vacuuming. If you gave a small apartment with no carpets, it would work. But it doesn't work as advertised on carpeted floors. If you can afford to replace your Dyson part with a branded one I would do it.
