MacOS blocks the signal conversion for some reason. It works in Windows running boot camp on my MacBook so it’s not the cables fault, it’s the MacOS software. Just posting it here so anyone knows, a lot of us are trying to go from our 2019+ MacBooks to DP monitors and this will not work. However, thunderbolt 3 to HDMI will work, so check if this brand makes a cable for that. If you are a windows user ignore everything I just said because it seems to work great on windows, give it a try. Mac users, not so much, unless you strictly run windows via boot camp (which M1 macs will not be supporting, just a heads up).
