I ordered this for a trip with our 3 year old because I thought he might think it would be cool to be able to ride with us when we travel. Well he definitely loved it. But his father and I got a little scared while driving because we didn't realize that he picked up the phone and then we suddenly heard sirens or strange clanking noises. LAUGH OUT LOUD! It didn't really matter once we got used to it, but this thing has virtually no volume control (although I didn't look for it if there is one), and it's LOUD. So, long story. If you don't like loud toys I wouldn't recommend this, but if you can turn this off or have a playroom that is separate from your location I would definitely recommend this. my son loves this
