This is the second Nilights set I have bought. The first set, which was a big rod, went to my case back pick. It offers a nice bright light and wide pattern at night. It helps a lot during night operations in the forest. The body and lenses are strong and so far they have held up well to the sticks and branches they often hit. They only got light scratches. My only complaint was that the small screws that attach the light unit to the actual hinge mount were a bit short. I had to lose the washer on some of them as there were signs of thread breakage. As for waterproofing, everything is excellent. I live near the Olympic Mountains in Washington State and it rains a lot here. (over 100 inches of rain a year) and I have no steam or condensation in my lenses. Good product whether you get smaller sets or large sets.
