I chose these masonry bits to be able to drill holes in the concrete as I need them, but they work well. These drills come in a plastic case, but the case is very cheap. The largest bit is not seated properly and individual bits are difficult to remove. The bits themselves are pretty strong and make a good hole in the block. After several holes, the drill showed no signs of wear. But the hole sizes aren't quite up to the ASE standard. This means that the 1/4" bit will make the hole smaller than it should. This is of great importance for the contractor. But for the average user, this may not matter as much. Use when size matters.
