I can't believe how strong these staples are. I ordered stainless steel brackets because I used them in the engine bay to install the oil separator. I didn't expect them to be stainless steel because they were cheap. They are very strong made of stainless steel. Possibly the most durable metal I've ever worked with. I spent over an hour trying to drill a hole in one of them using a brand new set of bits and two different drill bits (18V Ryobi and 20V DeWalt). In the end I just gave up. The photos provided show a completely worn out bit set from trying to drill a hole in these brackets and a hole that was never in the bracket. I even tried drilling it from the other side when I had a hole. There are no dice. It's just amazing, if you're looking for durable stainless steel mounts then you've come to the right place. hp I ended up using the bracket hole to drill a new hole in the catch bracket which was aluminum. It was easy.
