Fast delivery, easy installation in 2 minutes. Works great, the tailgate opens completely without pauses.

"2 Pcs. 6328 Gas Filled Hood Lift Bracket" were delivered 2 days after ordering. Installing both brackets on a 2007 Nissan Murano took only 2 minutes, it's not "rocket surgery". It may have helped that a while ago I had to replace similar lifters on the hood of my car using the same simple procedure. I'm tall enough to hold the tailgate with my head when the old lift was removed - you can have a 2x4, a ladder, or a family member handy to keep the tailgate from closing when each old lift is removed becomes. Place the new jack within reach, pry the clips on both ends of AN old jack and mark which end is which before removing the old one. Tap gently with your fist, remove each end of the old tappet, position the hole in the end of the new tappet cylinder over the "thumb" on the car where the end of the old cylinder came loose and tap in. Faust, then do the same on the other end. You may need to press the open end of the tailgate a little harder than normal to get the hole at the end of the shaft to line up with the "thumb". Repeat with the lift on the other side of the car and check.
