Compared to the similar (decaffeinated) coffee Ambassador (Ambassador), which tastes like burned-out robusta, this one is light years ahead in the flavor department. Despite Lavazza Caffe Decaff being more expensive, the caffeine-free Ambassador is cheaper. Pros: I bought this coffee for about a year until I stopped drinking it on my doctor's advice because of digestive issues. In spite of the fact that this is the most costly coffee produced by this company, as a lifelong coffee enthusiast, I began purchasing it as soon as I spotted it in the store. Decaffeinated coffee lacks the bitter aftertaste of regular coffee. If you've been told by your doctor that you can't drink regular coffee, give this a try instead. Cons: The canned version of Lavazza Caffe Decaff is the most expensive of the whole line. Almost no coffee aroma. Mild flavor, probably roasted to a low temperature of 3 degrees. There is a chance that it will be too bitter for fans of robusta or 4.5 degree roast.
