Review on Formula Energy 235/65 R17 108V summer by Mateusz Swierczynski ᠌

It was a bad idea to buy this, money wasted.

After reading a ton of favorable reviews, I decided to purchase this rubber in the size 215/55 R16 97V. I reasoned that a reputable company like Pirelli wouldn't make products of poor quality and damage its name. And as it turned out, they stamp super economic class rubber and sell it at a middle class price while concealing themselves behind a brand. After purchasing it at a store, I went for a tire fitting the next day and discovered that two of the four new cylinders were barely balanced. On the machine, one cylinder was visibly spinning like a figure eight and did not even rise to barely acceptable levels for balancing. Completely dissatisfied with my purchase, I decided to put it to the test. The street was gently raining, so I sped the car to 160 mph before varying the pace at which I released the gas or abruptly applied the brakes. Although I'm not a pro, I put triples on the rubber based on all the impressions I had. In addition to everything else, pokes from tiny pits are conveyed (which I had not noticed before on Michelin tires), and uneven asphalt surfaces in our city cause more vibration. In total, I came to the conclusion for myself that if I want better rubber the next time for a budget of 4100-4500 per cylinder, I will buy producers from Japan or Korea of different brands after speaking with a tire store employee and reading the evaluations of other owners again.

Pros
  • None.
Cons
  • Lack of balance! 8 balloons. Rigid. All of the little pits and potholes are sensed when driving. The automobile floats in the rain.
