After months of slow testing I have come to the conclusion that this cable is an overpriced USB 2.0 cable. It never exceeds 40.0MB per second, ever. At first I thought the problem was with the hardware of one of my devices. I bought a portable SSD hard drive with a USB-C socket and connected everything to my computer (Asus X570 motherboard, latest M.2 SSD, Ryzen 3950x overclocked to 4650 GHz so I had enough power). The results were bad, 35MB/s my goodness. I tried USB-A to USB-C keys, then used the USB-C connector that connects directly to the motherboard, and I tried the USB-PCIE connector. I tried plugging it into a powered USB hub, I tried every 3.2 USB port I had, same result. If you buy this cable, it may be the most expensive USB 2.0 cable you will ever buy.
