Some issues of using
The quality of the bamboo tips is good, the tines are strong, but after some work I found that they are very difficult to penetrate the end of the corn stalk and are often too narrow end of the corn war so that the tines end up sticking out too close. Who wants to bite off a sharp piece of metal? The only remedy would be to trim the narrow end an inch or two.
