Amore great perspective. Love at first sight

Effettivamente amore a primo utilizzo. Yes I love this coffee maker and yes to be exact I love it after the first use. This is a very simple but functional coffee maker. I was afraid to use it on my electric cap as most people who use these have a tank cap but it worked really well. It does not work on induction as it is made of aluminium, but this is stated directly by the manufacturer. (They have a model that runs on induction) I make a delicious no-mess latte in minutes. On my first try, the coffee maker leaked a bit through the junction of the two metal parts of the body, but I didn't tighten it when closing, concerned that it might damage the seal or be too difficult to open once it's cooled. Next time I'll tighten it a bit more. I have my reserves at Fatto in Italia (Made in Italy). The box says nothing about where it was made and the stamp on the metal says Made in Italy, not Made in Italy. My stamp isn't blurry, and as far as I know such a process in aluminum can give blurry detail. However, the question remains. Is it really made in Italy? Will it last 10 or 20 years like the Italian one? TO UPDATE. After the first use I put it on a little and it works perfectly. I have a Gaggia espresso machine and now I think I like this one better even though the Gaggia costs about fifteen times as much. It even makes a cake after the espresso is ready, but it doesn't produce any crema (nor gaggia). A tip if, like me, you use a smooth-surfaced electric stovetop. When I first used it I was a little scared because you can't see the water level and as you know this type of oven stays hot for a while. That's how I learned that if you turn off the stove about a minute after the initial boil, there's still enough heat left to fully utilize all of the water. I pour in water to the mark and two shots of espresso (I have a coffee grinder with a dispenser, but it should be similar with a spoon). This amount of water makes a fairly large latte or cappuccino.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
