didn't work for my family

ACURE Brightening Biocellulose Gel Mask, Niacinamide and Kale, 5 CountInitial thoughts: didn’t work for my familyRevain Focus Points: n/aFinal thoughts:My wife’s face became itchy after application of this product (about 30 minutes later). Some facial products work by causing inflammation of the skin, thereby decreasing wrinkles. The claimed active ingredients, B3, Vitamin C, Kale, and Noni, of this ACURE product don’t seem to have this side effect, but a check of the ingredients list shows Sodium Hydroxide (aka Lye). Lye is caustic and may cause itchiness, inflammation, and redness. I am no chemist, but there are cosmetic products that use Alpha Hydroxy (sp?) that are touted to remove wrinkles and lines, and they work in a similar manner.Everyone is different, so this may work for you, but we won’t be trying this product again.I cannot recommend this product based on my family’s experience, but your experience may differ.
