They come with two internal wire supports that look like they are meant to stand upright and support the sides of the container. As it turns out they are folded inwards and you have to lift each one so they fit the sides, except they don't rise all the way up, they just fall back into the folded position. I ended up filling the containers extending the sides and letting them stand upright so it was in order and the wire supports rested on the contents. They don't hold much either. Love the zips on the top and side windows so you can see what's inside, as well as the handles on the sides, and most importantly, there's a little plastic pocket on one side that you can stick a note in to explain the contents to mark. I order more because they fit perfectly on the top shelf of the closet.
