This material is great for hanging picture frames. I just use two hangers and attach them to the sides, 1/3 of the way down from the top of the painting to hang it. Of course I pre-drill the holes for the screws. Be sure to drill holes before inserting the picture into the frame, otherwise dust will get in. A 20 lb spice rack is no problem * Easy to install * Large enough to fit in the wire of a larger picture frame. Cons: * None. You need to find another type of hanging device. These wire picture hangers move back and forth because they are on flexible wire and the hangers themselves move. The aforementioned spice rack ended up needing a solid metal rod to hang it from, so it wouldn't move. However, they are ideal for picture frames as they are not interacted with like a shelf or spice rack.
