Review on Aquarius Episode Skywalker Playing Multicolor by Daniel Aboubakar

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Pictures too dark. in Standard Decks

Cards: individual episodes, individual characters, and even a deck with Kenner figures. Some scenes are shared between episode decks and character decks. This allows me to compare the quality of the image printed on cards from different decks. Check out the photos I posted comparing Luke Skywalker and Red Squadron flying the Death Star. The images from the Episode IV deck are noticeably darker, while the images from the Luke Skywalker deck are noticeably lighter. This deck (and Episode V and VI decks for the same reasons) didn't impress me even before I opened up the character decks and saw the difference in brightness. Hopefully Aquarius will re-release the episode decks with the brightness correction and I'll take them because as I said the cards themselves are fine as is the choice of scenes presented. Pros: a set of quality cards. Scene selection is fine. Cons: Images are too dark, especially when compared to the same images from special character decks.

Pros
  • UNIQUE CARD DESIGN: This Star Wars deck contains 54 cards (52 playing cards and 2 jokers) with a unique design and illustration of Skywalker. Sunrise"
