You are paying for a cheap cooker

Don't expect more than a cheap rice cooker. We needed a new one fast so we went cheap. He does his job. Pros: + price + water bath + cooks rice well. So you need to turn it off when you're done "cooking" the rice. Overall, it does the job of making a simple rice pot. If you expect more or want more, buy a Tiger rice cooker.
