These are exactly as advertised and a little lighter but they work for what we wanted. We don't plan on wearing them all the time as we don't have to, but for what we wanted, a lightweight and highly visible piece, they're great. The cost was more in line with what we wanted to spend on this type of product. You can easily wear them all day long. They are a little small, so if you are thinking about buying them, I wear a medium or large shirt in western clothing and I ordered 1XLG. I should have ordered 2XLG for regular wear but we don't have to wear them all the time and we don't have to close them (velcro) so they worked great.
