I bought this to replace my parents (in their 80's) whose laptop needed an update. It was very slow and was bought right before the Windows 10 update. They mainly use it for games (you know, classic solitaire, blackjack, poker), YouTube, recipes, FB, whatever. Sometimes they had a hard time navigating the computer and I would get a phone call or have to go to their house or have a remote session to show them how to do things. Often I found ads blocking their screen or various pop-ups. I thought they would have a harder learning curve than they really are. After I connected their Google account and downloaded some new games, adjusted the font size and resolution, bookmarked YouTube and their websites, they started working. It's been 2 weeks now and not a single call asking for help. I disabled passcode/pin when opening chromebook, they open it and it turns on immediately. They have a good screen size, their laptop was 16 inch and met all size requirements. The color on the screen is beautiful. While it doesn't fold in half, it lays flat, but I don't see a need for that feature. They don't disconnect it, so I can't comment on battery life. this noise - the volume could be louder.
