Aurifil thread is the bomb!

I'm a seamstress and I drank Aurifil Kool-Aid after having problems with Janome machines that used yarn from a traditional craft store. Wow! This step has greatly improved the way the machine sews! who knew Sometimes I had tension issues and just got a nice, smooth, even stitch. This happens when sewing quilting fabrics purchased from Moda, Kaffe, etc. quilt stores. The Aurifil thread immediately affected the smoothness of the sewing machine. One thing that really made the difference was what happened when I unpacked my new Janome 5300. I loaded a Janome bobbin that already had Coats all-purpose thread on it and threaded the same thread into the needle. MY GOD! The machine started loudly and after 4 or 5 stitches it jammed and gave an error message. I've tried several times with the same result, even removing and reinstalling the spool and line. However, big problems. I was devastated because I thought my new car was a lemon and was about to pack it back to return when I thought of trying Aurifil yarn. Viola too! Stitched like a champion! I was shocked that one thread could make such a difference! The car survived and I haven't had an accident or stutter since! I am a convert as is my partner who has a Janome QDC Series 4000. She was frustrated with her stitches thinking it was a machine. She also sewed blankets with Coates thread. I suggested that she change and her problems went away. She mentioned several times how much better she sews. Different machines like certain threads, but all the people I've talked to or read about have no problem with Aurifil. I may add that my car also loves Gรผtermann. I love the color choice with Aurifil and have bought many trophies. There's still lint that accumulates, but less than other cheaper brands. The nature of the animal. Just clean your car regularly so that it doesn't end up in the workshop. Do not blow it out as this will only push the lint deeper into the mechanism.
