As these are children's headphones I figured they would be smaller than adult headphones by default and then get larger as children grow. Fully built they are still too big for my 3 year old and she is in the 95th percentile for head size. I've compared them to my Bose adult headphones and they seem to be a similar size. I don't think they should be advertised as a general statement to children, maybe only to older children aged 10+/pre-teens/teens. Otherwise they are very cute and appear to be of good quality/comfortable.
