Review on High-Flying Bird Helicopters Drone Tech Go Novelty & Gag Toys: Control with Precision! by Ronald Wheeler

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Looked promising but stopped working.

It seemed like a cool toy, but the controller self-destructed. We took it to a nearby park to try it out, but a combination of too much wind and not enough parking space resulted in the bird landing on a nearby rooftop twice in a row. I don't consider this a product defect at this point as my piloting skills were very poor. We gave up and opted for a larger room and a less windy day. After a week or two we made another attempt, but this time the bird didn't work. The button on the end of the controller that I clicked or felt or moved slightly just got stuck. I think it was the button that turned on the mopping. I later opened up the controller case to see if something was blocking the button, only to find that the internal switch had just fallen apart. It was obviously broken and impossible to fix. This was sad as the bird seemed very promising. It's one thing for the switch to wear out from long use, but to break by itself, almost useless, is unacceptable.

Pros
  • Go Go Bird Flying Toy with 7 Color LED Lights: With flapping wings, it looks like a real bird in flight! Just throw the toy bird carefully and it will start flying immediately. The most amazing thing is that it can fly in the opposite direction if there is an obstacle nearby. You can also use the remote control, altitude hold, circle mode, rotation...all under your remote control. Bright 7-color LED lights add to the pleasure of night flight.
