This is a great option for those with sensitive skin that gets irritated! The best I can physically describe is that it most closely resembles hand sanitizer. However, once rubbed into the skin it doesn't leave a gummy residue as one would expect when using a sanitizer! It absorbs and leaves a smooth surface. I had a patch of dry skin on my neck and collarbone. this helped speed up the healing time of the skin but did not significantly reduce itching. I understand that this was made for hydration and itch relief and not for any specific purpose... But I mention it for those who think the same way as I do. Personally, I had hoped for everything in one tool. For someone who is 100% Icelandic and has very sensitive skin - it didn't irritate like other perfumes/dyes. It tolerates light well, absorbs quickly and moisturizes in the driest periods. NOTE: to be so simple. it must be thin! Open the bottle carefully - I found the hard way, but I also found the easy solution - shake the bottle before opening. This prevents unwanted separation and leakage. and end the chaos!
